Ben Ipekjian has experience in representing owners across multiple real estate classes: adaptive reuse, creative office, retail, restaurant, ground-up multifamily, core and shell commercial, educational, studio production, high-end residential and historic restoration.
Ben started his career at George C. Hopkins construction and was part of the GC team that executed the repositioning of the KOR Group’s Barker Block, one of the largest adaptive reuse projects in the Arts District of Los Angeles. Ben went on to join Arroyo Hill Development where he was responsible for overseeing multiple projects, which included the office and production studios for Soapbox Films, as well as a variety of multifamily apartment and single-family residential projects.
Ben joined Watershed Partners in 2010 to work with Apple, Inc., in the national roll out of a security retrofit program and expanded his role to assist in front of house and back of house renovations. He also acted as project lead on the development of new Apple stores in Orlando, Austin, and Toronto. Ben went on to work with other brands such as Club Monaco, Burberry and CHANEL. He has led project teams for new stores in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Houston, and Costa Mesa.
Additionally, Ben has worked for developers focusing on delivering project and development management services in the Los Angeles market. He oversaw construction management for firms including Redcar Properties, Ltd., The Lionstone Group, Pacshore Partners, and Ryda Ventures. He was instrumental in office, retail, and restaurant core and shell projects throughout many emerging and established markets in Los Angeles. He has worked in areas including Chinatown, Frogtown, Playa Vista, DTLA, the Arts District, Hollywood, and Silver Lake. Ben has also worked overseeing improvement works for such companies as Go Get Em Tiger, Homestate, Death & Co, and Giphy.
