
Steven L. Nulsen has been involved in all facets of real estate and construction for over 25 years. Prior to founding Watershed Partners, Inc. with Peter Taylor, Mr. Nulsen was the Director of Real Estate for Crate & Barrel, the leading retail firm specializing in housewares, home furnishings and furniture, and held primary responsibility for the firm’s expansion into the New York and California markets, including their Chicago and Manhattan flagship locations. Other real estate experience includes the redevelopment of The Clift Hotel in San Francisco, Polo Ralph Lauren flagship stores in London and Chicago, and a variety of corporate headquarters projects. His experience also includes the management of hotel, office, commercial projects in Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco, Connecticut and throughout the United States.
Over the past several years, Mr. Nulsen has also expanded his experience by managing the development of distinctive residences in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Montana. These unique projects encompassed program development with the owner, building siting, design coordination and decorative integration.
Since founding Watershed Partners, Inc., Mr. Nulsen oversees new business development, including diversification into large residential, urban renovation, hospitality and other specialty projects worldwide.
Mr. Nulsen currently is a member of the Board of Management of YMCA Camp Menogyn of the Minneapolis YMCA and is active in church and community activities.
